Overview : We are looking to hire a User Interaction Designer for our small, but growing company focused on improving local communities through technology, innovation, and culture.

What We’re Building : Outside is a local deals platform that lets you access deals in your local community.

Qualifications

Must haves

  • Bachelor's degree : in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience (Master’s Preferred)
  • 5-8+ years : of experience in product design or UX
    • Preferably have worked to build and/or lead a team of designers
  • Design Wizardry : A portfolio that showcases your mastery of UI/UX design, with a focus on interaction design. Show us the awe-inspiring projects you've coded and designed from scratch.
    • Proficient in graphic design and video editing tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Adobe Effects, and more.
  • Coding Prowess : Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js. You're not just a designer; you're a coder who speaks the language of the web.
  • Team Player : Stellar communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with different teams and departments. You're the glue that binds ideas together.

Must haves

  • Bachelor's degree : in Business, Business Administration, Sales, Business Management, or any business- related field, or equivalent practical experience (MBA preferred)
  • 4-7+ years : of experience in account management, partnerships, business administration, marketing, sales
  • Closing Wizardry : A track record of successfully closing deals and building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships. Your negotiation skills are legendary.
  • Deal Making Mastery : : You're a deal-closing maestro who can charm the socks off potential partners and negotiate agreements that make both parties say, "Wow!".
  • Local Partner Whisperer : Understand the local partner landscape inside and out. Identify and nurture relationships that align with our mission and values.
  • Data-Driven Insights : Have the ability to use data and analytics to refine and optimize our partnership strategies. Your insights will be the compass guiding our growth.
